Octo Browser proxy setup
Octo Browser takes the proxy per profile, under Proxy / VPN in the profile's general settings, or once in the Proxy Manager so any profile can reuse it. Type the fields in one at a time: Octo's paste box treats a semicolon as a separator, and your login carries its targeting in semicolon-joined keys.

- Open the profile's Proxy / VPN settings, or add the proxy once in the Proxy Manager so any profile can reuse it.
- Fill in the fields below one at a time. Don't paste a whole proxy string: Octo splits it on the semicolons in your login.
- Save and start the profile. Octo reads the exit IP and sets languages, timezone and geolocation to match.

Tips & gotchas
- Don't paste a whole proxy string into the Enter IP or domain box. Octo splits pasted text on ; as well as colons, so a targeted login like PROXY_USER__cr.us;sessid.octo01 comes apart. Fill Host, Port, Login and Password separately.
- Octo reads the exit IP each time a profile starts and sets languages, timezone and geolocation to match; WebRTC's default Based on IP setting reports the same address. A sessid holds one IP for up to 120 minutes, so add ;city.newyork if a profile must keep one timezone across sessions. City targeting meters at 2× on every pool except premium residential.
- A sessid overrides a sticky port: with one in the login, the sessid picks the exit and the port stops mattering. Use one method per profile, either sessid logins on port 823 or country-only logins on ports 10001, 10002 and up.

How do I add a proxy to an Octo Browser profile?
Open the profile's Proxy / VPN settings and pick a proxy saved in the Proxy Manager, or add a temporary one. Set the type to HTTP, the host to gw.proxmint.com and the port to 823, then enter your login and password, each in its own field.
Why does Octo Browser split my proxy login?
Octo's quick-fill box accepts ;, @ and spaces as separators alongside the colon. Targeting keys in the login are joined with ; (PROXY_USER__cr.us;sessid.octo01), so a pasted host:port:login:password line breaks at the first ;. Type the fields separately, or use sticky-port lines whose login carries only the country.
How do I give each Octo Browser profile its own IP?
Give each profile a distinct sessid in its login (sessid.octo01, sessid.octo02), or a distinct sticky port (10001, 10002) with a country-only login. Each profile then draws its own residential IP, and the sticky-port version also survives Bulk Add.
