Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to everyone who uses Proxmint. It exists to keep the Service legal, reliable, and available. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund, and may be reported to law enforcement.

Prohibited activities

You may not use the Service to:

• Break any applicable law or regulation.

• Gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data (hacking, credential stuffing, brute-forcing).

• Launch DoS/DDoS attacks, port scanning, or network flooding.

• Send spam, phishing, or operate scam/fraud campaigns.

• Distribute malware, ransomware, or exploit kits.

• Access, store, or transmit child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content exploiting minors. Zero tolerance.

• Infringe intellectual property or distribute pirated content.

• Harass, threaten, or stalk others, or violate others’ privacy.

• Carry out payment fraud, carding, or money laundering.

• Resell or share access in a way that obscures abusive activity.

Enforcement

We monitor for abuse signals (not content) and respond to reports. We may suspend or terminate accounts engaged in prohibited activity, preserve relevant logs, and cooperate with lawful requests. No refund is given for accounts terminated for AUP violations.

Reporting abuse

To report abuse, email support@proxmint.com with “ABUSE” in the subject and include relevant details (IPs, timestamps, logs). We investigate every report.
