Nstbrowser proxy setup
Nstbrowser sets the proxy per profile: open the Proxy tab while you create a profile, choose Custom Proxy, and fill in the protocol, host, port, username and password. The username carries your targeting keys, so one set of credentials covers every country and every profile, and a profile you later drive from Puppeteer or Playwright keeps the same proxy.
Nstbrowser proxy fields
- Click Create Profile and open the Proxy tab. Choose Custom Proxy, not Local or Platform Proxy, and keep Proxy Setup on Custom; Saved Proxies picks one you added under Proxies.
- Leave Proxy URL empty, keep Protocol on HTTP and fill in the fields below. Host and Port is one row with two boxes: the host on the left, the port on the right.
- Click Check Proxy, then Create Profile.
Swap PROXY_USER / PROXY_PASS for the credentials on your dashboard. New here? Create an account to generate a key.
Tips & gotchas
- Type the username into Proxy Username rather than pasting a line into Proxy URL. Inside a URL the ; between targeting keys can be escaped to %3B, and the gateway then reads a different username.
- Protocol starts on HTTP, which is port 823. SOCKS5 needs port 824; a profile with one protocol and the other port never connects.
- Proxy Username and Proxy Password say Optional because a proxy can also recognise you by IP. Ours can: add the machine's IP under Access on the product's dashboard page and leave both empty, and the product's saved Targeting picks the country. Otherwise fill in both.
- A new session can land in a different city of the same country, so add ;city.newyork if a profile must keep one time zone. City targeting meters at 2× on every pool except premium residential.

What is Nstbrowser?
Nstbrowser is an antidetect browser built for multi-account work and web scraping alike. Profiles run on nstchrome, its Chromium build, each with its own fingerprint and proxy, and the same profiles can run in Nstbrowser's Cloud Browser, in its Docker image on your own server, or under Puppeteer, Playwright and Selenium scripts. The Free plan allows 10 profile launches a day and 3 team members; paid plans start at $29.9 a month, with 40% off billed annually.
Nstbrowser key features
- Fingerprints. A fingerprint per profile on nstchrome, set across the Overview, Hardware and Advanced tabs, with a summary of OS, kernel and hardware before you create it.
- Proxies. Custom proxies typed in per profile, saved proxies and proxy groups to pick from, or Nstbrowser's own Platform Proxy.
- Automation. Puppeteer, Playwright and Selenium drive profiles, and an RPA builder automates tasks without code.
- Cloud Browser and Docker. Run profiles in Nstbrowser's cloud or in its Docker image on your own server, for scraping at scale.
- CAPTCHA solving. A built-in solver for five CAPTCHA types, billed per thousand requests.
- Multi-window management. Synchronises actions across browser windows to run many accounts at once.
- Teams. Groups and team members, 3 on the Free plan.
Nstbrowser, answered
How do I add a proxy to an Nstbrowser profile?
Click Create Profile, open the Proxy tab and choose Custom Proxy. Keep Protocol on HTTP, enter gw.proxmint.com and 823 in the two Host and Port boxes, then your login in Proxy Username and your password in Proxy Password. Click Check Proxy, then Create Profile.
Why does my targeted login fail when I paste it into Proxy URL?
A URL can escape the ; between targeting keys to %3B, so the gateway receives a different username than the one you paid for. Clear Proxy URL and type the username into Proxy Username instead; the host, port and password go in their own fields.
Does Nstbrowser work with SOCKS5 proxies?
Yes. Set Protocol to SOCKS5 and use port 824 with the same host, username and password.
How do I give each Nstbrowser profile its own IP?
Give each profile a distinct sessid in its username (sessid.nst01, sessid.nst02). Each profile then holds its own residential IP for up to 120 minutes, and a profile reopened later gets a fresh one.
Is Nstbrowser free?
Nstbrowser's Free plan allows 10 profile launches a day and 3 team members. Paid plans start at $29.9 a month, with 10% off billed quarterly and 40% off billed annually.
