Hidemyacc proxy setup

Hidemyacc sets the proxy per profile: open the Proxy tab while you create a profile, choose Your Proxy, and fill in the host, port, username and password. Or add proxies once to Proxy Manager and pick them from any profile. The username carries your targeting keys, so one set of credentials covers every country and every profile.

Hidemyacc proxy fields

  1. Open New Profile, go to the Proxy tab and choose Your Proxy. For a proxy you'll reuse, add it once in Proxy Manager and pick it from the list in any profile.
  2. Set Connection type to HTTP and fill in the four fields below. Quick add takes the same values as one IP:Port:Username:Password line.
  3. Click Check Proxy. It shows the exit's country and city before you click Create.

Tips & gotchas

  • Quick add splits one IP:Port:Username:Password line into the four fields. Before you click Check Proxy, make sure the Username field kept your whole login, targeting keys included.
  • Hidemyacc reads the WebRTC IP once, when a profile starts. With a sessid in the username the exit holds for up to 120 minutes, so the default Altered setting reports the right address. On a rotating username on port 823 the exit changes per request, so set WebRTC to Disable, as Hidemyacc's docs advise for rotating proxies.
  • Timezone and geolocation follow the proxy on their default settings. A new session can land in a different city of the same country, so add ;city.newyork if a profile must keep one timezone. City targeting meters at 2× on every pool except premium residential.
  • A sessid overrides a sticky port: with one in the username, the sessid picks the exit and the port stops mattering. Use one method per profile, either sessid usernames on port 823 or country-only usernames on ports 10001, 10002 and up.
  • Connection type also lists SOCKS4, SSH, Tinsoftproxy and TMproxy. Use HTTP, or SOCKS5 on port 824: SOCKS4 has no password field, SSH is for SSH tunnels, and the last two are built-in integrations for other providers.

What is Hidemyacc?

Hidemyacc is an antidetect browser for running many accounts from one computer. Each profile gets its own browser fingerprint (user agent, screen size, fonts, hardware and language) and its own cookies, so websites see every profile as a different user on a different device. Give each profile its own proxy and it gets its own IP address, timezone and location too. Profiles run on Chrome, Brave, Opera, Edge or Yandex and present as Windows, macOS or Linux, with Android and iOS from the Base plan up. Plans are priced by profile count, and a 7-day free trial covers 30 profiles.

Hidemyacc key features

  • A fingerprint per profile. Set the user agent, screen size, fonts, memory and language by hand, or let Hidemyacc generate a random set. Default profile settings carry your choices into every new profile.
  • Proxy Manager. Keep every proxy in one pool, check them in bulk, note when each one expires, and assign them to one profile or many at once.
  • Proxy Store. Partner proxy providers with Hidemyacc-only codes worth up to 50% off, filterable by datacenter, residential and mobile.
  • Automation. Build scripts that warm up accounts from drag-and-drop commands, your own JSON or Puppeteer code, or a recording of real actions, then run them in batches or on a schedule.
  • Synchronization. Repeat what you do in one profile across many profiles at the same time.
  • Teams. From the Base plan up, create unlimited sub-accounts that share your plan, and share or transfer profiles to another Hidemyacc account.
  • Magic Link. Move a profile from another browser or antidetect browser into Hidemyacc with the same working environment.
  • Local API. From the Team plan up, start, stop, list and create profiles from your own code, and hand a started profile to Puppeteer.

How do I add a proxy to a Hidemyacc profile?

Open New Profile, go to the Proxy tab and choose Your Proxy. Set Connection type to HTTP, enter gw.proxmint.com in IP address/Host and 823 in Port, then your login in Username and your password in Password. Check Proxy shows the exit's location before you click Create.

Is Hidemyacc free?

Hidemyacc has a 7-day free trial with 30 profiles. After that, plans are priced by profile count: Mini covers 5 profiles for $10 a month, or $5 a month billed yearly, and Starter, Base, Team and Business scale up to 1,000 profiles.

How do I give each Hidemyacc profile its own IP?

Give each profile a distinct sessid in its username (sessid.hma01, sessid.hma02), or add country-only lines on sticky ports 10001, 10002 and up to Proxy Manager and assign one per profile. Each profile then draws its own residential IP.

Should I disable WebRTC in Hidemyacc?

Only on a rotating username. Hidemyacc reads the WebRTC IP once per run, so with a sessid in the username (one IP for up to 120 minutes) the default Altered setting matches the proxy. On port 823 without a sessid the IP changes per request, and Hidemyacc's docs recommend Disable for rotating proxies.

Does Hidemyacc support SOCKS5 proxies?

Yes. Set Connection type to SOCKS5 and Port to 824; the host, username and password stay the same.

Is there a Hidemyacc promo code?

Yes. Use code WELCOME10 for 10% off your first Hidemyacc purchase. Hidemyacc's own code, shared with our readers.
