Dify
A Fetch page tool for Dify agents and workflows: residential, datacenter or mobile IPs in any country.
Last verified: October 2026What it does
The Proxmint plugin adds a Fetch page tool to Dify. An agent, chatflow or workflow passes it a URL and, optionally, a country and city, and gets the page back as readable text or raw HTML, with the final URL, HTTP status and title.
Requests go from the plugin to the gateway, then out from an IP in the location you picked, and use the bandwidth of your own product. The Dify host never connects to the target site itself. The plugin is listed in the Dify Marketplace; the source is on GitHub.
Install and connect
- Create an API key under Settings in the dashboard (the same read-only key the customer API uses).
- In Dify, open Plugins, search the Marketplace for Proxmint and install it. You can also install the
.difypkgfile from the GitHub releases. - Open Tools > Proxmint > Authorize and paste the key. Saving it reads your account and uses no bandwidth.
Use it in an agent or a workflow
In an agent, add Fetch page as a tool and ask for something that needs the live page, for example “What does the front page of example.com say when visited from Germany?” The model fills in the URL and the country.
In a workflow, add it as a tool node and set the URL from an earlier node. The node’s text output is the page, and json holds the details:
Every call gets a new exit IP. When the gateway refuses a request, for example because the product is out of bandwidth or no IP matches the targeting, the tool fails with a one-line message saying what to change. The error codes page lists them all.
Parameters
| Parameter | Set by | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| URL | model or you | The http or https page to read. |
| Country | model or you | Two-letter code for the exit IP, for example us or de. Empty means any country. |
| City | model or you | City for the exit IP, for example New York. Needs a country. |
| Proxy product | you | Residential (default), premium residential, datacenter or mobile. |
| Output | you | Readable text (default) or the raw HTML. |
| Max characters | you | Longer pages are cut. Default 50,000. |
Good to know
- City targeting can meter at twice the bandwidth; the targeting page says which products.
- Pages load over the destination ports the network forwards, which cover the usual web ports (see port access). A short list of sites is refused outright (see blocked websites).
- A self-hosted Dify behind a firewall needs outbound access to
gw.proxmint.comon port 823. - The tool does not run JavaScript. It reads what the server sends.
